Can't understand people selling theirs on ebay at the moment. Shops still have stock at the moment and it's hardly been in the press as yet or advertised on TV.

I'll be waiting til December til I list mine when shops have all sold out. Keeping one for the 9 month old though, she'll love it.

I'm lost as to where this crazyness has come from. Apparently the current shortage is 'speculators' who are buying them up in bulk to sell on ebay. I suspect by Christmas time there will be plenty of stock. Apparently there has been a 'viral' marketing campaign for months building up the hype, so I'm unsuprised there is a shortage the week after release.

Yes, you have to go to the bitter end with this one IMHO. All or nothing :eek:

10 years ago parents really were paying THOUSANDS of dollars for the original Elmo at Xmas time. Not saying that's going to happen this time, but I'm having a punt on it...
