I've just noticed that Ebay have banned the sales of perfume testers and was wondering if I could still sell perfume samples?
I get quite a few because of my job and they are sealed in boxes taking up space in my drawers.
    Thanks.

So you get these for free and want to sell them on?

    Honest or what?

Hi OP I would not risk putting these samples on ebay if one of the companies who owns the brand objects to you selling it ebay will remove the listing and this removal will hang around as a serious breach of policy for 6 months as it will be classed as a copyright infringement.
The reason it is classed as a copyright infringement and is a serious breach is because companies use the VERO scheme to report your listings it does not take may of these types of breach to have your account closed forever.
Rights owners on ebay can even have a listing removed when you are using a picture you have taken yourself because they own the rights to any packaging of the product they make so by taking a picture of their product and then displaying it you have infringed on their copyright.
A few people say it is because ebay are scared of what happened when they got took to court and there will be an element of truth in this statement as well so by listing these samples you are on dangerous ground and are risking them being removed and your ebay account being damaged.

For the record I'm not an SA bagging all the samples meant for customers so all those people grilling me can unclench.
I work in the media so PR companies send me stuff for photo shoots and they can't be returned to them for health reasons.
I'm usually sent full size bottles in artworked packaging with the ingredients listed, but it will have 'press' printed on it of something similar.
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
