Faulty items, but PAY 10per min to RETURN.

Options
Hi

I bought an item from "Scots of Stow".

The item is broken, not packaged very well and scratched.
Also, part of it is not made properly so does not fit together at all.
Item, "Made in China" like most of there stuff and items I bought were badly made.

Bought an item last year and paid £80 for it.
Was so bad quality we had to call and complain and took a while to return it. It was really bad and also faulty.
1st they said we HAD to pay to return it.......
........NO.....not for faulty goods thank you.

Bought there luggage set last year. Coming apart where the so called leather is glued to the plastic.

Bought a weather station, uses batteries every 2 weeks. Also display not displaying properly. Better off buying one from a dedicated weather specialist site. paid £50.

Why is it.....when you phone up to return faulty goods, first thing they say is you have to PAY for RETURNS.
No you do not. Again have to tell them that.
Also when you call and hold....its costs us 10 pence per minute to return faulty items.
I mean how much money are they making on us calling them.

Why do companies do this, make you pay when you call to complain or try and return faulty goods.

You've bought several items from this company that turn up broken, or break easily...

Isn't this telling you something.... Don't shop there again!!

  • I will not be shopping there again.

The item still has NOT been picked up 2 weeks later.

1st time I phoned said in 4 days to pickup.
2nd time phone on the 5th day, ohh another 4 days.

3rd time, will be either today or tomorow..

Not very helpful staff, have the attitude of tough and can only read from a script.

    Will wait and see.

What a waste of time. 2 weeks of waiting for that dam company to pick up a faulty item.

Why did you go back after the first time? That's just stupid.
  • Why bother replying with a comment like that, is your life really that boring.

You give companies a chance. You don't know until you buy a few items do you.

They did not pick up item..................what a surprise.

Also FYI, Section 75 claims are through the roof.

I think you can judge that a company may have poor customer service from a first - possibly second - experience.

No idea what you are on about s.75 claims for.

I'd ask for a refund from the charm school too, while you're at it.
