i get esa support group and get disability income guarantee of £13 a week on top included in the esa.
what is this? under what circumstances is it given?
i also get severe disability premium, and i know i get that because im living on my own and get dla mid rate care too.

It's DLA middle rate care that qualifys someone to SDP. I think the extra £13 is enhansed disability premiumBeth

It's an extra disability premium.. To qualify you need to be in reciept of DLA MRC or HRC, live alone and no one claims carers allowance for you.
If you use a benefit calculator on this site or Directgov.com this should tell you exactly what your entitled to including H/CT benefit.
Contact your local office and ask for a claim form for SDP.Beth
