No idea really, I spoke to him in December and he wanted a list of all the creditors which I sent him via email. We currently owe about £10,000 I think he said which we have sent up via Citizens Advice Bureaus on repayment plans of £1 per month. We have 2 CCJs which are also on £1 per month from 2004 or 2005 can't remember now, but we have paid the mortgage and 2nd mortgage religiously for over a year now so it seems to me to make sense to remortgage and free money up to throw at the debts.
One block might be that my husband is self-employed but we have bank statements that support his earnings.
Waiting for this chap to get back to me as he is going to talk to a couple of lenders but he said doesn't seem likely which has really made me go downhill on the optimism scale just seems like brick walls everywhere.0 -

This does not seem quite right to me.
On the basis of what you have posted so far, I think you should be able to find a deal out there.
Cant say for sure, as there is not enough information here omn which to base a decision. Maybe the income stream and proof of income may be the stumbling blockI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. A second opinion sounds like a good idea. With a year of no missed mortgage payments it should be possible to find a lender who will be interested.0

I think AWD is what Carrington Carr now call themselves. I would be extremely wary of them.0

Hello,
We are still trapped in this high interest mortgage L & C do not seem interested in helping us never get any replies to my emails or phone calls. This BMI solutions site that James recommended looks ideal for our circumstances but is it only available for mortgage brokers.
Any mortgage people out there want to help us remortgage. Its not quite straightforward as husband is self employed with one years accounts and I work part time and we have a lot of debt and poor credit record but paid mortgage for over a year now with no defaults. Help please. Need to bring down mortgage to clear other debts.0 -

Make sure you get properly advised when you speak to a broker and dont just go for BM solutions. James isnt actually a mortgage broker although I daresay he had the best of intentions.I am a Mortgage Adviser
