Payment meter....Changing supplier

I've had a quick look but couldn't see anything on this, but I thought there was an article on it.
The young girl in the flat above me is on benefits and has 2 young children. She is on a pre-payment meter and is putting about £20 a day on it. She doesn't want to change to a pay by direct debit meter. I seem to remember that there was a firm who charged the same as or nearly the same as direct debit for patment meter. Does that make sense? I think it was Ebico but can't quite remember. Any help greatfully recieved.

£20 a DAY??? I have a pre-payment meter and don't put a tenner a week in, and I don't scrimp on it either. Is her meter set right?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

She is gonna have someone over to check it. We live in a very old building that can get very cold and we have to have the night storage heaters on earlier and later than most people. They are old heaters as well. HA have us on a rolling plan to change them but it will be a couple of years but we should have gas CH put in woo hoo!! She also has her tumble dryer on a lot I notice so I expect that doesn't help.
Thanks again for all your help and input.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
