Citroen zx estate rear wiper not working
My old Citroen ZX estate (M Reg) has a non-working rear wiper. My OH has gone away this weekend, and has left me to figure out whether its the fuse or something more. Trouble is I can't find the owner manual to check the fuses. Does anyone know where I can find out which fuse it's likely to be? A Google search doesn't really help, and I can't get a workshop manual from the library until next Thursday. If anyone has a ZX estate or manual, and can tell me which fuse, and where the fuse box is, I'd be very grateful.

do you need it to work?0

I'd like it to work, I live in rural area and near coast, and get lots of dirt and salt, and it helps to be able to clean it without stopping and cleaning it with a cloth. Also suspect I'll need it to function when the MOT is due.0

It isn't a testable item. Chances are its seized from lack of use or there are dirty electrical contacts on the tailgate.0

Can't help/remember which fuse is what.... Just go through them 1 by 1 but the relay for the rear wiper is behind the trim on the boot lid itself...0

It could be the fuse - you should find where the correct fuse is by a simple Google search.
If it is not the fuse, check and see if you get any reading on a meter, if you don't, the motor is dead.0 -
Thanks everyone, I've tried Google, hunted for handbook, admitted defeat, and ordered workshop manual from the library. I'm glad libraries exist, they help me out so much, and it's cheaper than me buying books all the time.:)0

its not testable, which is why i asked if you needed it. when mine wasnt working it coast £150 to sort but i needed it for taxi test0

Of course its testable... Use a Multimeter to see what if any powers coming to it and or put 12v to the motor briefly...
No power or its spins with 12v on it then you need to trace the problem back down the circuit i.e fuse/relay/switches etc.0 -

Think they meant it's not testable the rear for a MOT :rotfl:0
