I am planning in taking advantage of this 5% offer. I am going to put in 5,000 lump sum, then another 5,000 in the first month which I will lose the 5% interest and carry on for the remaining 11 months to add between 100-300 pounds. It is a fantastic option.0

The account isn't fixed term, so you can actually run it on as long as the interest rate stays competitive. That shouldn't affect your plans if you can keep up the £100 monthly contributions, but it's something to bear in mind.0
