Ok so i moved from a flat to a balcony to somewhere with no balcony and no real access to a garden, (a communal garden is availabe but considering the amount of dogs/children that play in it im no willing to use it for gardening).
What will i be able to grow it needs to be something that can be gtown in a house and not need planting outside. We used to grow quite a bit on the old balcony and would like to still be able to produce at least somethings.
Thanks in advance.

I've been in a similar situation before. Do you have good light? Wide window sills?
Imdoor crops I've grown were
Salads - as cut and come again mixed trays
Herbs
Tomatoes
Peppers and chillies
Sprouting seeds to add to salads/use as a side dish
Some of the smaller courgette types did OK in a trough on a sunny windowsill.
I once tried growing peas indoors in a large pot but crops like that need the insects to pollinate them. I got nice looking plants and pea flowers but no real peas - pea tips are tasty though.
It really depends on how much space/light you have, but even if it is limited, many veg plants can be grown in pots from seed indoors and you eat the young plant instead of waiting for the conventional crop.
Check the seed companies for the compact varietiesMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
