You need to get an NUS card.

Youll get loads of discounts then all over the place.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
You won't ned an NUS card if you get a student card, I don't think. (well, I've had no problems)Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
50p saver #40 £20 banked
Virtual sealed pot #178 £80.250 -
Depends where you want the discount. Some places will accept your 6th form ID card if you have one, some are funny/awkward and demand an NUS card, which costs £10. Alternatively get yourself a free UCAS card, which isn't quite as widely accepted as NUS.0

You'll need to apply for the NUS Extra Card (you used to get the NUS associate card). You get discounts on Amazon aswell as most high street shops so the £10 will pay for itself very quickly. The UCAS card (from memory) only gave discount at PC World...0

I got my teacher to write a letter on headed notepaper to say I was a full time student (make sure your date of birth is included) and took this to STA Travel and paid £6 for an ISIC card which got me the same student discounts...this was when I was in 6th form.0

It gave it at a few more places, but it doesn't really matter. They were the places that UCAS had made specific agreements with - I used it pretty much anywhere that had some form of student discount (but it didn't have a photo on it so sometimes had to show my driving license to prove it was me).0 -
I had the NUS Extra card and I also had my college ID because it had a photo on so just used that0
