lost bank transfer

I've finally had someone agree to a bank transfer, she's a newbie, just 2 feedback but doesn't seem to understand how it al works. I gave her my bank details last Wednesday and she emailed me again Thursday to say she was confused , so I explained it all to her. I then got another email to say that she had made payment so would I send her item (it was same bank) but nothing showed, so I emailed her to tell her that.

It#s now several days later and I've received another email asking me where her item is..but I still don't have any payment.

I just hope she typed my details in correctly...otherwise this could get messy..

    She is saying nothing, I have a horrible feeling this is another ebay user who my mail doesn't reach all the time.

    I'll leave it until tomorrow and then I'll probably call her. This is irritating though as I'm not used to having stuff littering up the house after it sells, I usually have my item end, get paid by paypal and then ship and that's the end of this. This one has now been going on for 8 days!

  • It's a shame you can't do a funds request from your bank to another one like you can do a money request in paypal. This would make things alot easier.

  • I misdirected a bank transfer when I entered my sister's account no. incorrectly.

    It came back to me within a few days... thank goodness.
    My TV is broken! :cry:
    Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

    We had a TT go astray to China because the account no was apparently not correct. After seeveral weeks a smaller amount returned to our account due to the losses involved changing pounds to dollars and back again. Our bank said that the Chinese bank had rejected it and the Chinese suppliers are adament that the bank details are correct. This is still on going and I have the feeling that we are going to bear the loss here.
