Zonealarm toolbar not working in firefox

Options
hi there

i have installed ZA firewall with the ZA toolbar for FF . all installed ok, but when i click the ZA toolbar instead of showing the toolbar in FF i get the message

unload: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIObserverService.removeObserver]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://trustchecker/content/trustchecker.js :: anonymous :: line 949" data: no]

in IE ZA toolbar has a tick next to it but does not show

I am running windows 7 home premium 64bit , many thanks

    Zonealarm toolbar is the ASK toolbar in disguise. Its certainly not needed, it does questionable things and generally slows computers down
    Id personally remove it if I were you

    According to download.com having the toolbar gives more security?

    The ZoneAlarm toolbar has also been given more than a simple spit-shine. You can opt out of installing it when you run the main installer, and install it later if you wish, but ZoneAlarm was quick to point out that it without it key security features are not activated. Hiding the toolbar after it's been installed won't disable its protections, which include the aforementioned signature and heuristic-based antiphishing protections.

    You can remove it via the Windows control panel, add/remove program dialog. In the list you should find ZA Spy Blocker.

    If it isn't working anyway, why are you making fuss. Get rid of it.

    Its has the EXACT same signature as the ASK toolbar. Theyre one and the same (Aside from the obvious name differences). I dont care what download.com say
