DRO Discharged?
debtfreemaybe?
Hi all,
I have had a DRO now for over 12 mths (just) and have gone to the insolvency website and under status it says:
Currently Subject To Debt Relief Order : Moratorium Period ended on (couple weeks ago)
The debtor’s Moratorium Period End Date is in accordance with Section 251H of The Insolvency Act 1986. As of this date the debtor will be discharged from the qualifying debts.
So, while the moratorium period has ended, and according to the info displayed I am now discharged from the qualifying debts, the status still says currently subject to debt relief order.
Please can someone explain what is happening, or is it just taking them some time to update their records?
Many thanks in advance for any info provided.

Same thing happened to me.......I think that the IS systems are automated, and that the only wording that changes is the "ended" part.
Not to worry though, my entry has just dropped off the IS website, 3 months after end of moratorium. :-)I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

Don't forget to print out a few copies of your entry so you have proof of discharge and can do your file clean up.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
