My 100th feedback on ebay - OK!!!!!!!

There I was with baited breath, waiting for my buyer to leave my feedback to bring it to 100.

When it finally came, yes it was positive, but all it said was OK! That's it.

Talk about anti-climax. After all my lovely comments previously, my 100th said just that.

That is all this guy ever leaves for people though, as I checked to make sure I had not done something amiss.

Still, it was positive, but that guy is sure economical with his words!

  • I'm beginning to think buyers need serious tutorials regarding how important feedback is.

A couple of days ago I had a negative. Why? Because, as she stated, "the dress didn't fit"

In itself, feedback is not important at all. Positive feedbacks can easily be bought for 1p each and, as you've said, negatives can be left for trivial reasons.
Best thing you can do is respond sensibly to the feedback and nobody will hold it against you. Or, if you haven't left feedback for the buyer yet, neg them and go for a "mutual withdrawl".
    Can I help?
  • Some people just don't get into the whole 'spirit of eBay' thing and just leave comments like 'OK' or 'Thanks'.

When this happens to me I get some enjoyment by following it up with some witty comment (well witty to me anyways).

eg. Someone left me with "Arivved quickly" (note the spelling) I followed up with "Glad you liked the dictionary"

Happy ebaying! and congrats on your 100th transaction!
    Problem of the week!

I used to leave feedback as soon as I received payment, but it's stories like that which have convinced me that waiting for the buyer's feedback first is sensible.

I normally wait to see the customer is satisfied, but this was a small item and decided to leave feedback firstas they paid instantly. will not do so again. I noticed someone had left this buyer feedback, saying "OK thanks"!:)
