Which uses more of my GB Allowance - 'live' streaming or downloading....

Live streaming usually uses less as its done in a lower quality to maintain continuous playback.

If you install NetMeter, or a similar programme, you can measure it yourself. And, if your 10GBs a month happens to be with PlusNet, don't forget that midnight to 8am is unmetered.

Yes i am with plusnet - i will have to use the free hours more often!

They don't make a big deal of it - unsurprisingly! Have a look at Jdownloader - it's particularly useful for scheduled downloads.

If the filesize is the same, they should be exactly the same whether downloaded or streamed
