Any cashback cards available for non-workers???

My Mum and Dad no longer work; my Mum has MS, and my Dad took early retirement to care for her.
I got them to apply for a Morgan Stanley credit card like mine, so that they'd benefit from the cashback, but after applying, they received a knock-back letter, saying that their earnings weren't high enough.
Their credit ratings are good, and they always clear their current card bill every month.
Does anyone know of a cashback card which they'd likely be approved for?
Thanks for reading.

Hi HalleluiahMan
Welcome to MSE & the credit card board!
I chose the Morgan Stanley cashback card myself and normally this would be my top recommendation.
Egg Money is popular with MSEs, but the current cashback rate is only guaranteed until 2007 so could be cut in less than 4 months.
You may want to read the *Best Cashback Cards ...* sticky above for further suggestions.
Are you in touch with your parents on a regular basis? Have you considered an additional card for them on your MSDW account? They could then share your cashback? Obviously, you would be liable for their bill, so this would require some thought & forward planning.
Very best

Many thanks for your reply.
I hadn't considered getting an additional card for them on my account, though I'll leave that as a last resort. (My concern would be that they'd feel that they'd be losing some independence.)
I wasn't aware of the Egg Money card. I've had a quick look at the website, and will check it out before recommending it to them.
Thanks again.0
