price comparison sites

Hi all
Recently I've been reading about the price comparison websites being more or less in cahoots with the companies they list, or benefitting in some way which in my book, makes them biased.
So can anyone recommend a reasonable website please?
cheers

Recently I've been reading about the price comparison websites being more or less in cahoots with the companies they list, or benefitting in some way which in my book, makes them biased.

They are all biased. They dont offer whole of market. An increasing number of companies refuse to be listed on them. They dont offer all product types (for example you see them list PPI style income protection but not PHI style income protection which is better for most people but still relies heavily on paper applications and is typically less profitable than PPI).

The focus on most, if not all, comparison sites is price. Not quality. The companies that primarily quote on comparison sites build their products to look good in price. This often means factoring in admin charges or reduced cover/options to lower the base premium.

If you know the limitations and only use them for certain business types then its fine to use them but you are right to be on guard.
