From 25+ years online I must have been unfortunate to come across more pedants then. Debates about the use of commas, colons and semi-colons or apostrophes (especially apostrophies) are not uncommon.

Closure at long last!
CPW CEO team advised they wished to avoid court action and credited my account with £159.95.
Result I thought until I came to obtain the new handset.
The CEO team had omitted to advise me that I could only purchase a sim free handset with this credit note. Not a result!
Finally got closure by insisting CPW either make this credit note valid for ALL purchase so I could obtain a handset of equal spec or refund the original purchase price so I can now purchase a new PAYG handset from another supplier.
CPW went for this option and credited my debit card the same day.
With this I vow never to do business with CPW or Best buy ever again. (Best buy is a CPW group company)
