So you can turn your piggypoints into cash at betfair, is that correct?

You can turn 500 points into £5 with a betfair voucher.
You can then, if you have an account, withdraw this £5 straight to your bank account.
Then you can spend this anywhere.

Yep, and you get a better return on your points than vouchers really i.e. 1000 points gets you £10 as opposed to 1150 for a £10 boots voucher!
I don't know of any limit... so far I've redeemed £50 this way :Tbenedictadams wrote:Thanks kathfisch

Mine have usually turned up within 3 or 4 days but pigsback do state to allow up to 7 days (possibly working days! ).Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. forgive me for being thick
why would jackpot joy be willing to give 1000 points (£10 with the betfair withdrawal way) for only placing in the account
isn't that £5 easy money?Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

The t&c state that you need to deposit and play with at least £10. So if you wanted to take a chance and hope that you win something it might be worth it... personally I've had quite a lot of luck with some slots games on jackpot joy but its all down to luck, obviously.
When signing up to jackpot joy don't forget to reject their offer of a matched bonus (there should be a box to untick during deposit procedure) because the t&c require you to wager 8 x your deposit before you can withdraw it  Much better to deposit the £10, play with it and hope to win! Even better though... sign up through quidco and get (I think) £20 cashback for depositing and playing £10 - easy money indeed!!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. kathfisch wrote:I've posted a couple of bits of advice but none of them cover the whole thing... I shall do my best! There have been quite a lot of requests for this info lately so I thought I'd write a full guide!! Apologies that its very long... hope its helpful and pigsback related enough for you all
Using Betfair in conjunction with Pigsback
Register - get yourself an account with Betfair. This can be done through a cashback site such as quidco, this will normally require you to deposit £10 and bet with it in order to receive about £20 cashback. If you do not want to deposit simply go to https://www.betfair.com and register for an account. You are automatically taken to the 'deposit' screen once registered but there's no need to deposit. You will be asked to give yourself a betfair username, be sure to make a note of it!
Redeem Piggypoints Once you have a betfair account and username, you can turn your piggypoints into credit in your betfair account. To do this, go to the spend piggypoints section of pigsback, scroll down to the £5 (500 points) or £10 (1000 points) betfair vouchers and adjust the quantity to however many you desire! At the bottom of the list, click 'Select Items'. At the top of the list click 'My Selections' and on the page that loads check your order and click 'Order Selected Items'. You will be asked to confirm your name and address and then asked for your betfair username. Be careful! Your username must be entered exactly as it is in betfair otherwise your points may not be credited. It will then take up to 7 working days for the credit to be applied to your betfair account... you can keep signing in at https://www.betfair.com to check if it is there!!
Withdraw When the credit has reached your betfair account it will be visible at the top right of the home page when you have signed in. To withdraw this amount as cash, click 'My Account' and a new window should open. On the left hand side click 'Withdraw Funds'. If you have deposited your card details should be visible, followed by 2 boxes: 'Amount to Withdraw' and 'Your Betfair Login Password'. Fill in these 2 boxes and click 'Withdraw Funds' at the bottom right. I believe this amount can take up to 5 days to be refunded to your card. If you have not deposited then you can withdraw by cheque. As I have no funds at the mo I can't access the option and guide you through it but presumably you'd need to confirm the name and address for the cheque to be sent to. MSErs have reported that cheques are normally received quite quickly. Maybe someone can give more details?
Piggypoint poker is separate from the withdrawing from betfair malarky! There are 400 points to be had for playing your first game of piggypoint poker, and even more if you manage to win :T In order to play you need a betfair account so make sure that's sorted! Then visit this page for a step by step guide to downloading and using the betfair poker software. Part of this process is to specify a 'poker alias' - the name that you will be known by when playing. Make a note of this because you will need it (and it may or may not be the same as your betfair username). At the bottom of the same page click on 'Register for Betfair PiggyPoint Poker Tournaments'. Scroll down the page that loads and find the box underneath the date on which you want to play poker (wednesdays and sundays, 7.30pm), put in your poker alias and press 'enter'. This will cost you 100 piggypoints and will display a password for you to enter the tournament. On the day of the tournament, open the betfair poker software that you have installed and log in using your usual betfair details. Find the section called something like 'private tournaments' and locate the piggypoker tournament. Click that you would like to register for this and you will be prompted for the password you were given by pigsback. You are now playing in the tournament :T Be sure to sign in before 7.20pm to make sure all is ready before play starts. If you are late you cannot play and your 100 points are lostThe first time you play in a tournament you will receive 500 points back (credited within a week) so that's 400 profit even if you don't know how to play
Each time after that, though, it will cost 100 to play and you will not receive anything back unless you are placed in the top 5 :T On the days of tournaments there is a thread here for chat about the poker, so this thread doesn't get too cluttered!
Phew... I think that's everything! If it doesn't make sense or I've gone wrong let me know
Apologies to anyone who has no interest in betfair and has just had to scroll past all of this!!:rotfl:
Kath
thanks, kathfisch, that's perfect! Just what I was looking for!0
