Probably a REALLY stupid question but!!!!!
I would like to withdraw some of my pigsback thru betfair. I have opened an account and deposited the £10 so I get the Quidco bonus offer. What on earth do I bet on? I really do understand that nothing is a certainty so I thought I may go for money (my reasoning that the FTSE could only go up or down?) but I don't know how on earth to proceed!! It looks as though I have to select the 'points' it will move - ok but then it seems to be asking me what the odds are? I thought in betting you got given the odds?
Sorry! I know this isnt really a pigsback question but I'm terrified of doing it wrong!!!

In the last Pigsback thread someone posted a really useful beginner's guide to using Betfair to cash Piggypoints (including how to register up to how to withdraw). I'm having real trouble finding it again and wondered if someone could point me in the right direction?

    Thanks - Jule

i didnt like to complain as it was such a good deal getting a £3.50 magazine and getting £10 for ordering it.its just a shame that when you order a magazine subsciption you do expect it to be an up to date issue:confused:

Yes but at the end of the day you are well within your rights to complain, regardless of if you got cashback for it as it's their mistake and i bet it didn't say that it was a backdated issue?

There's no reason why you shouldn't complain and request your money back imo. :)

It does have the odds on, in decimal (so it won't look like a normal 5/1 odds it will be just a number like 3 or 3.25 etc etc) but you can change the odds in the box when you have clicked it, just use the odds that it gives you though.

I'm sorry if i have misunderstood your question, if i have then let me know and i'll try again lol.

I think we all feel the same about the same subject. Now fed up of paying extra points for boots vouchers I'm going to have the cash via Betfair but looking at PB the only Betfair that comes up is to register for Poker???

What other alternatives are there to open a Betfair account just to 'process pb points? Dont think I want to go through Quidco as I dont really want to deposit anything.

Since it is your first time do NOT adjust the odds. The odds are already in place (the bold number above a money total).

You can get more info from the help tab on the right of the betting screen.

I opened my Betfair account via Topcashback (deposit £10, cashback £25, no requirement to wager original £10). Once cashback tracked I withdrew original £10 and now cash my Piggypoints out through Betfair.

I too am looking into a betfair account - have found all these posts really helpful. I understand (I think) that I open the betfair poker account and then have my points creditted and withdraw cash - cheque. I may even try poker for a laugh on Sunday. Did not know there were other ways to open an account do I not just got through pigsback. Sorry experts I know you must be sick of betfair questions. Could we have a betfair section on the front page do you think?

I think they will send you the money as a cheque if you haven't deposited. :)
