To add to my previous post...

the Lightspeed points delay was at Pigsback's end but it was just a delay, not a tracking problem. (The allocation of only half the points does seem to be a Pigsback problem though. I'm hoping this will be corrected tomorrow).

The Motley Fool problem seems to have been a problem with the MF site because although my details were sent from PB, I wasn't registered at the MF site.

!!!!!! and the Pigsback newsletter were genuine problems and had to be manually corrected, and Cheapflights I have only just enquired about.

Received my £90 worth of vouchers for John Lewis/Watirose yesterday!! All thanks to winning a comp through the tips/answers on here. Thanks y'all. Not sure whether to splash out on a nice object for home from JL, or spend them on 2 weeks of food shopping at W, in effect giving me 2 weeks free food. Decisions, decisions. Good luck everyone. During this year I must have recieved the equivalent of £160 in vouchers and my daughter won £100 to spend on CDs, and gave one to everyone in the family! Goes to show it is worth doing these comps every day.
Hi suziewuzie, I wish I had your problem. The only Waitrose in Scotland is in Edinburgh, which is a long way to go for shopping for me :rotfl:
I don't know if Pigsback are aware of this. If I were you I'd opt for the free food. I would love M&S vouchers to be added. Are you listening little piggy:rotfl:

Hi, has anyone else had this problem? The other day, I got a card through my letterbox from Royal Mail saying that a letter had come for me, of which the full postage costs had not been paid. I went to the post office yesterday to find that it was from Pigsback! The envelope had no stamp or franking mark on it and for the privelidge of taking the letter away I had to pay £1.23 (£1 handling costs and I assume 23p for the actual postage). It seems that Pigsback had missed my letter on the franking machine! Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to try to email Pigsback and see if they will refund me as I've already earned the points!

Well done:beer: it's a shame that pigsback pulled out as there are still a lot of msers playing and at the moment it doesn't look like anyone else is going to set up a poker game, never mind it gives us something to do for a couple of hours on a sunday evening.

EmH, thank you for the info. You clearly know the technical side of it much better than I do, so I don't think I can be of any help on that score.

Lightspeed are not always very efficient in some aspects of the treatment of their panellists. There is a thread on here somewhere on the Freebies forum where you could read about people's experiences with them - including mine.

You seem to have been the victim of a combination of errors, incompetence and ill fortune. Good luck with it all.

We tend to become quite wound up by these failures of people's systems, and I frequently have to remind myself that I'm getting uptight over 10p! Sometimes I think it isn't worth the hassle of chasing things up, but then I feel that I shouldn't be denied what has been offered. On the plus side, I have always found PB's CS staff very polite, and things have usually been sorted out quickly where problems have arisen. In fairness to them, a lot of the difficulties seem to stem from their advertisers.

Thanks for the response. I have also wondered whether it's worth chasing up 10p worth of points, but I, too, feel that offers made should be honoured. I also believe that unless problems and shortcomings are pointed in cases like this, companies can't very well be expected to be able to prioritise and deal with them to best effect.

I have to agree about the Pigsback staff though. They have been excellent, very friendly and helpful, every time I have contacted them so far. I have no complaints about them at all.

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
