I guess they have received a lot of these e-mails and have decided not to validate people outside the UK anymore.

to t-sharp: It was not my intention that you should give me your mobile number. I only have a problem getting my account validated and thought that there was a possibility that i was not the only one. Please receive my apology for not formulating myself well enough.

I personally would not have mentioned being abroad, just that you do not have a mobile number. Try again in a few days - a week or so maybe so they don't remember the email? :rotfl:

Otherwise look on the free mobile sim cards thread for a free sim to be sent out to you so it can be validated!

Go for the full 300 - the 100 was compensation because of the delay. Be nice about it but stand your ground.
