I think there was a section where you could submit your favourite memory of last summer. It's finished now. Did you write something for that?0 -
Nope!, Only things I`ve submitted like that was a review of Depeche Mode at the Wireless Fest for the Gig Reviews and a review of Clerks 2 for the Movie Review0

I'm being tempted by the new audible offer - well the 500 points for the free trial bit of it anyway.

Anyone already done this? - just wondering how easy it is to unsubscribe after the free trial, whether it can be done online or whether you have to ring and get someone trying to give you the hard sell to continue. Had a look on their website but can't seem to find anything about cancelling after the free trial and how to do it.0 -
Edit: See my next post below
We're members of Audible, using the £14.99 monthly subs. If you like audiobooks, that is great value.
[STRIKE]However, as far as I'm aware, there is no online method of cancelling a membership, trial or otherwise. You have to ring customer services.[/STRIKE] I've done this once, to sort out a subs change query, and the chap I spoke to was polite, knowledgeable and efficient.
Edit: Just one other thing ... The downloaded audio is digitally protected, and won't copy and play on generic mp3 players. Only certain brands are supported, including Apple, of course. Do check what you're going to play them on before you sign up.
