what are the odds of this happening?
Sorry I didn't answer your question properly. I was trying to work out odds but couldn't so I looked on google.:o
The odds of picking 6 is nearly 1 in 14 million.
The odds of picking 3 winning numbers is 1 in 57. After you've played 57 times there is strong possibility (not certainty) that you will have won £10 (and if you do win it could be first time you play or the 57th time). On average it costs £57 to win £10.0 -
On the rare occasion I do it I do lucky dip only or random numbers-my ex uses the same number every week and ends up spending £23 a week on it as he can't bear to drop any nunbers in case they come up.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

I'm in a syndicate with some of the lads at work. £10 in a month (not too painful). What we win we use at Christmas (usually about £100). You never know, one day we might win big!TOP VIZ TIP:

We use to have certain number but then gave it up and started on LD. We only do two lines. Yes granted that is £8 a month but we don't smoke and we rarely go out.
If we where to stop we would just not look at the numbers and put the money away.
I think if you stop you have to go cold turkey stop and don't look at the results.

a very similar type thing was said to me when I first married. It was to put half a crown (yes it was that long ago:rotfl: :rotfl: ) in a jar everytime you made love in the first year. In succeeding years take out half a crown each time. Apparently it was very unlikely that the jar would ever be empty. Dunno whether it would have worked, we could never afford to put the half crowns in.:rotfl:0 -
my mum wont give up she always has a reason why not, its an addiction thats how i think of it.... i never do it, but i am a sucker for scratch cards

see i never do that :rotfl: if i win on a scratch card then i keep the money and i either win money ie if i brought 1 and won £2 i have won £1 or i break even ie brought 1 won £1 not lost/won anything but my mum is different if she wins £1-£5 she will buy other cards and then loses everything :rolleyes:0 -
Dont waste your money on the main lottery. Do the irish!!
We got three numbers up 2 weeks ago and won almost £500 !! Ok we have been playing it for a year or so with only one number wins (which pay £6) to date but the odds are just so much better!!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600
