I'm off to Eire next May and there is a TV with Sky there. The owner says to bring your own Sky card but I have been told I can't do this. Has anyone done this or no any alternative? Thanks

you need to take the whole box and card it is in at the moment to get premium channels if you subscribe to them, taking the card alone will not allow you to watch Movies or Sports channels as it is paired to the box itself.:beer:0

And eventually they will notice its no longer connected to the registered telephone number0

No they wont, ive not got a telephone line anywhere near my box, its never been plugged in - A multiroom sky box is the only thing needed to be plugged into the phone line, not the main box,
The telephone line is only used for interactive services:beer:0 -
Oh well thanks for the advice, will have to stock up on Disney and L.E DVD's then, was hoping to have the childrens channels0
