Free Winnie The Pooh Book - Grolier

I received a preschool family 2006 chequebook from my daughters nursery this week and it has loads of great money off and free offers. One of them is to claim a free Winnie The Pooh book.
You need to call 0870 607 7017 (charged at the national rate - sorry not 100% free) and quote reference CGZ. You don't have to sign up to any offers or anything. I just called and ordered mine and was asked whether I would like to stay updated on future offers so you can politely decline if you like.
Just having a rifle through the little chequebook to see if there are any other relevant freebies to share with my fellow MSE's and will keep you posted!:j

Thanks!
What's the book called? Is it the same one you get for free on the Grolier Pooh book club trial?0 -
A BIG WARNING ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!!!
Check the small print. As well as the free book they will also want to send on a regular basis other books for your approval. Once you start this it can be very difficult to stop them.
I had threatening phone calls as they said I never sent them back (and you have to pay the postage). Lot and lots of people I know have had problems with Grolier and their so called free offers.0 -
Apologies the title is My Very First Winnie The Pooh - Pooh Visits The DoctorMy mantra is "Never pay full price!"0

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT EVER TOUCH GROLIER WITH A BARGEPOLE!!!
They basically run a form of legalised extortion. Before you know it you will have run up a massive debt with them and will receive a seemingly unstoppable deluge of books you didn't order but will have to pay for!!!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I agree, I have known loads of people have trouble stopping Grolier!!Sig ah Sig Ahhh0

mother is still getting grief from them, over five years later.
The most recent was a book set she has already sent back twice

Never do this, they will add you to a subscription, they did this to us, they will invoice you for every book you get, so avoid avoid avoid! :eek:0

Grolier are the worst company I have ever bought from...when you stop buying books they become extremely rude
