They have also launched bento buddies which offer an alternative layout of inner containers including a double sized container. (though I don't think these are available in the uk just yet)

I would probably use Lock and Lock Boxes that fit into an insulated Lunch Bag/ Lunch Pail or even outright Lunch Bag like Lakelands Picnic Bag which at least sqaushes down if needed for storage.
I would take my Workman's Flask and perhaps add a Food Flask for Hot Casseroles etc.
I think Laptop Lunches have the right idea but I am not so sure how it comes off in practice as one wants to use a wide variety of recipes to fit into the chosen method of transport.
