Bit like saying 'what are the best cars out there'? I'm afraid you need to be more precise. ;)

Fixed rate / easy access / can you tie to 'regular saver' (which give the best rates for 'new money') etc.

Have a read of this as a starter for 10 ....... then refine the question with a bit more detail?

And to think, there are some people who think education and university standards have been dumbed down.

    Shame on you all.

I am confused about the 4% this over 13 months. I thinik i might stick to a normal basic bank account.

Yeap, I think that's the best strategy. Or a piggy bank, perhaps.

I think you are being a bit cynical.
From my perception of standards - it would certainly merit A*!:rotfl:
For myself I am an optimist - there does not seem to be much use being anything else.
