I have used KwikFit as an insurance broker for a few years, happy with the price and the extra's included. Last year also happy they would allow payment via direct debit at 0% apr.
Things have changed, I now have an AUTOMATIC renewal with another company they have found. I need do nothing as the headline figure shows they are cheaper and the direct debit is in place.
Sounds Good?
Well when you look at the payments they are now charging for the extra's but worse than that they now charge for paying via installments only
35.91% APR!!!!!!!!
As Martin would Screeech THIRTY FIVE . NINE ONE %
Disappointed in KWIKFIT, they have no gone from good guys to SCAMMERS will give them an earful this weekend.
Advise anyone using them to check you direct debits in case you weren't aware of the costs.

Scam, Con, changing rules and excessive charging is all a shafting to some poor !!!!!!.
I remember last year when they suggested I took direct debits, I asked the charges and was surprised at no extra cost. Happily took it but can now see why or maybe I'm being cynical as no company thinks 12 months ahead about how to shaft customers.
The website has a small reference to a charge it http://www.kwik-fitinsurance.com/home/homeimportantinfo6.html0
