Euro Car Parks ticket

I had a ticket on my car a month or so ago after parking my car in a car park at a local shopping centre, as far as i'm concerned i adhered to the rules, used a normal bay and was only there for about a hour (the time limit is four).
At the time i had a look around this forum and the general advice was to ignore it, so i did.
A few weeks later i received an enforcement notice, which again, after reading through the forums and asking some questions i ignored it.
Today i came home to find a letter from Control Account PLC Credit Management stating i now owe £79.38 and must pay within 7 days of the letter to 'prevent further action'. Although it doesn't state what the further action could be, presumably because there is nothing they can do.
The letter has gone straight in my file with the rest of the paper they've wasted by writing to me. I'm assuming i'll receive one more letter before they go quiet and disappear. Am i right?

Who the hell do they think they are? Have they got any authority over you? No, none at all.
They are parasites living off the backs of law abiding people being honest and making their way in life. They, the same law abiding people, unfortunately pay their scam invoices, well some anyway. because they don't know any better and believe all the quasi legal crap that the parasites send through the post.
The word is slowly but surely getting out about their scam, and unfortunately not before time.0 -
I have had a 'Parking Charge Notice' from Euro car parks. I visited a retail park, went to pizza hut for about an hour and a half, then went to look round the shops. The notices say you are allowed to park for an hour, I was there for about 2. Came back to the car to find a nice looking receipt in a plastic bag under my windscreen wiper. They've very generously said I can pay a reduced fee of £70 if I pay by 27th August.
Err, I don't think so.
BTW, if they request your details from DVLA is this not a breach of data protection?Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
