Closing an Ebay shop....?

If i close my ebay shop, what happens to all the active listings?

Shop Inventory Items automatically end but normal listings don't.

I closed mine last month, it was fairly easy to find the right links to do so, but sort of sad to see it go. As Jake says only the shop listings disappear, the auctions stay where they are.
