item i listed isnt showing up??

Hi,

I havnt sold on ebay for a few months now and i've just listed an item about 20 mins ago but it still isnt coming up when i search for it.

When I search for the item number it comes up okay but I've tried searching for all the words in my title and the listing just doesnt show up. (i've had friends do a search too and they dont see it either).

Should I be more patient and wait (like I said its been 20 mins).

It has been known for listings to take several hours to show up. I wouldn't worry too much yet.

Yep, i listed something the other night and it took a little while before it showed up in a search.

Kind of annoys me lol because you pay for so many days, and you lose a couple hours because they're so slow adding it! maybe im just being petty

Guys i listed this over 4 hours ago and still nothing.

Should I be worried??

It should be ok if you can find it by item number.

I had this problem too with a buy it now listing on ebay. Even though I had paid for gallery and featured plus the item didn't come up in the category in which i put it at all (search by listing time left or any other sort method!) - it did come up if i typed in the title of the listing but that wasn't the point as the people I want to reach don't yet know the name of the product!!

Got a garbled and not very helpful reply from ebay.

However, also had almost exactly the same problem with QXL - their help didn't even read the message properly, and sent me a note listing my item saying it was showing and it was some guy listing a motorbike gear pump!! :eek: So far removed from my equestrian item!! Still at least i made them refund my balance and I will not darken their doors again!

i am sure you are right to keep checking!

Me too, listed two items with turbo lister, now can't see them when searching!
