Photofast CR5400 Help!

Hi all

I recently brought a Sandisk 16gb micro SD HC and brought the Photofast CR5400 however my psp slim & lite only shows 8gb when I put it in with my 8gb (Sandisk micro SD HC). I have tried it in a normal 1 slot adaptor and the same thing happens, it shows up as 8gb when it is the 16gb. When I link it to the PC it recognises that the card is 16gb or 24gb when I put them both in the Photofast CR5400.
I have tried putting on card in slot 1, formatting it, then putting the second card in slot one & the first one in slot two but still no luck!

As the PC recognises both capacities and is able to copy my files onto it the Photofast CR5400 must be working. I have read that the slim & lite can take 32gb using Photofast CR5400 so why is mine not working??:(

Would you be able to help me please?

Sorry just found out the solution, just had to take out the battery & restart the PSP & now it recognises it!
