    I have no savings and have been living off ema in the last two years and it will be rare for me to have any savings when at uni, that is if I ever will go to uni. Chances are slim.

    Whether you think you can or think you cant - you're right :)

    So think positive, Uni's great, a fantastic stepping stone to adulthood, so believe! ;)
  • I'm young (22) and have a decent amount of savings (21k) but after reading this I thought to myself do I really have good memories and look back at the past on the fun and good times and the honest answer is ... not really!

    Good post!! .... :) I'm going to aim to have more fun :rotfl:

    decent?
    :eek::eek:
    thats incredible, at 21 i had in those days about £50 in savings, no lie!!!!!

    but i suppose you live at home and have a decent wage of 30k upwards to at that age have so much saved.

    but i do think enjoying youth is critical, because when you're youth is gone its GONE.

    remember that cash you have saved, you can't take it with you when your gone:cool:
    She LEFT me, she LIED, and she made me foot the BILL ! :mad:

    Haha! Thanks!

    But No :eek: .... I live at home yeah, but I've only acutally worked full time for 2 years, and even that was only at a petrol station and the wage was very low! But .. I saved really well + paid £130 rent to my parents a month, and left there after 2 years with 16k savings, the rest is just from working part time etc while at college for 2 years after leaving my job.
