Hi, the dress is here! Now clock watching til 4 o'clock when DD gets in from school to try it on!

Looks very well made and well finished. All seams ect look good. The bust has built in cup support and the fabric is nice and heavy as I was worried it would be flimsy.
The dress is also lined.

Very impressed so far, just need to see it on!

First impressions of size: I ordered the standard sz12 and it is quite long so I think anyone of about 5'5 or under would need the length custom made. DD is 5'4 and will be wearing heels and I think it'll still be a tad too long. (I've been dancing about with it held up to me!)
I'll update on this later.
My sister is also a 12 and taller so I think this will be her dress and I'll get my DD a shorter one made.

Doh - was just looking for this thread to say that mine aren't here yet!

Have visions of them being in the wrong colour as the website said green/purlple but I emailed her to say I wanted red, not sure I can take the stress of waiting another day........

So pleased to hear that yours (CSH) have turned out as you want them.

Thankfully my mum is a whizz on the sewing machine and so she will be able to do any alterations.

Arrrggggg! Am so flucked off now!!!! There is a zip up bit lower down the dress before the lace up bit and the effin zip broke when I unzipped it to try it on her.

I'm unbeliveable annoyed!! Its such a nice dress then they've put a effin crap zip on it.

Then shes started moaning cos 'she looks fat'
Give me bloody strength!!!

Think I'll need to return it cos its the zip bit you pull up (IYKWIM?) is completely flucked

I havent even recieved mine yet

The seller received my payment on 19 Aug 2010 and my delivery estimate is 23 Aug 2010 - 24 Aug 2010.

todays date is 8th September. I have messaged the seller asking where my item is and i have just recieved a message saying my item has been shipped. not happy with their service so far so i just hope the dress is ok

If everyone is concerned about postage, why not request that you have Recorded Delivery, pay the extra and ask for the tracking number so you can track it online?
Obviously no good if you have already ordered but for anyone thinking of it.

Mine have arrived!!!! The colour is lovely and very rich, only taken one out of the bag but it looks lovely! Will report back once my bridesmaids have tried theirs on

Mine has arrived today, hubby 2 be picked up from post office. Like the style just not the colour :0/ I asked for "Gold" but it looks like a really horrible greeny colour....... but hubby 2 be thinks its just me??? *sigh*

I also ordered one on Monday morning and it arrvied today, I love mine, its royal blue, my zip has worked everytime so far, one of my briesmaids has tried it on and the other 2 are trying it on later tonight.
Im going to take it to the alterations shop on Saturday to see if they can take it in at certain parts if not then I will order 3 of them in custom made and the other one will have to be bought in a size as bridesmaid is 3 months pregnant just now.

Cant wait to see everyone else in the dress
