You can disable all but the Avast entry in CCleaner Startup. If find there is something that you use everyday, but it doesn't start up as usual, you can enable it.

Download, install, update and run a Quick Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.

You might want to disable the items in CCleaner before you start to do anything with HijackThis. That way you can re-enable if you want. Then run Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. Then another HijackThis log.

I'd disable all ccleaner startup items except wireless and avast ,line 10 and 13, and see how it goes.

edit: @donnie - must type faster!
  • CC Cleaner now.... It won't let me disable the other two for some reason. I assume I can still get to all these other things, they just won't start straight away?

That's right , most progs will start automatically when required so it's no hardship, they just don't need to be running all the time.
Try restart your pc -you should see difference.
    Run malwarebytes as already advised.

I do use it whenever I load photos on though. Would that still work?

Yes. If it doesn't start up automatically when you plug the camera in, you can go in via Startup > Programs and open the program yourself.
If it's a problem, you can re-enable the entry via CCleaner.

No need to check it in hijackthis as it's now disabled via ccleaner.
