Sun Awning

hope this post is in the right place, i didn't know where to put it

does anyone know of any companies or people in the Herts area that re-cover patio sun awnings?

i moved into a house a year ago that has one but the cover looks really dirty and old

its not got a motor, you wind it out manually

i did find one company in London but they quoted me £350, not sure if thats a lot for the job or not really

    I run a window blinds company that does awnings and that sounds about right.

    I sell made to measure awnings are they are £1000+, the cover will be about £200 + fitting of £150 not that bad for a fully fitted re cover.

    i saw covers that you can fit yourself for about £60, i really don't fancy my chances of doing that very well though :cool:

    and if they are so cheap will be be really shoddy?

    Yes anything under £100 will be rubbish.

  • They had complete set for £50 in B&Q yesterday. You would have to replace yours with the new one.
