Hi Can Anyone Give Me Any Information On These Types Of Franchises To Become An Owner Driver And Is It Safe To Send For The Book On How To Do It.cheers

try contacting the couriers directly - many will run the franchise scehme, a couple I can think of are Lynx, Initial CityLink and Business Post. ParcelForce were starting to do it a few years ago, not sure if they still are. Also try Norflex as they have a product for van leasing specifically for certain couriers.

i agree contact some big courier companys theres a self employed guy comes to our works and he delivers for tnt he does most of the smaller packages

I used to work for TNT Sameday on a self-employed basis, all their their couriers work on such a basis. It's not a franchise, although I can see them getting round to this. Just think how tempting it must be for them to have their workers paying for the privilege of employment!
The courier business is very competitive and so courier companies keep the rates paid to couriers down whilst costs (vehicle, insurance, diesel etc) continue to rise.
