Can you freeze lentil soup?

Wanting to make some to freeze up but just need to make sure i can.

    I freeze the lentil soup my Dads makes for me and its fine.

    yes, will be fine. all soup tends to separate a bit once defrosted and might seem more liquid than when it went in - but should be fine to eat once reheated thoroughly.
  • I've made a leek & lentil soup before & it froze fine (and tasted yummy)

    Thanks guys. I'm off to get cooking although it's with a bit of trepidation as i've no idea what lentils taste like! Am trying to be moneysaving and healthy. ( it's going to be a long process me thinks!!)
