^^^ Agree with the above. There's no need giving thetrainline.com the chance to screw you over. If you lose your card, or if it expires etc etc etc; any ticket agent at any staffed station will be able to release the ticket to you if your provide the booking reference, name, address etc. Bring photographic ID with proof of address, like a driver's license, just in case.

And for the love of God, while it may be too late for chappiechap, let us all learn the mantra I will repeat until I die...

Never book with the trainline.com ... you can book the exact same fares with any train operator's website and avoid all the stupid booking, delivery and collection fees!
