Hi all, I have just joined this forum is the help you guys maybe able to help me.

February this year, I parked in a Wickes car park and overstayed the allowed limit.

Needless to say I started to receive letters from G24 Ltd, which I ignored doing research on forums like these.

Then started to receive letters from CCS which I ignored also.

I must have received about 6 letters upto this point. Now I just received a letter from DWF LLP. Which is not mentioned much regarding PCN's on these forums.

The thing is everyone says keep ignoring the letters, but they haven't given up yet...

I hear that DWF LLP is a legit company? So if I continue to ignore there advances, will I be taken to court?

I dont want to be the first to be taken to court over this.

So my question is how many more letters will I get till they finally stop?

And people that have gone through the whole system of letters, did they receive any frrom DWF LLP??

The verbatim text of the letter from DWP would be beneficial.
Absent your personal details of course.
  • If G24 thought they had a case, you would have been to court by now. Even if DWP are "legit", it doesn't make a G24 joke invoice any more enforceable!

They look like the sort of company to get involved with a PPC http://financialfraudsternews.com/content/view/109/105/

DWF are not dodgy at all. I find it very surprising that they would take on PPC cases.

Yes, because they are setting themselves up for a fall - not that they will try Court, surely they wouldn't be that daft.

I suspect it's easy money for them and that many PPCs are panicking about their usual letter-chains no longer working to the same extent as they used to. Other PPCs have started to use another debt collector which uses pink paper - can't recall the name but that's another new threatogram. I think we'll see more, as PPCs get more desperate to scare people into paying.

gti boy can you keep the letters and scan them into a reply on the first thread on this board when it all fizzles out please? We haven't got examples of these letters but I'm sure they'll be as toothless as Graham White letters - the scam is still the same and the unenforceableness of your bogus parking ticket is still the same as any other.

Look forward to seeing the whole letter-chain if you get a chance to post it please in the end.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Change your original post in case it could be construed an admission. After all, you were only the registered keeper, were you not? ;)

That linked article gives me pause.
Nothing personal Sarah, I hold your opinions in high regard.

The verbatim text of the letter from DWP would be beneficial - including the signature and 'From' details but minus the poster's.

I agree about the article. A bad apple, maybe?

I certainly wouldn't put DWF in the same category as Graham White.
