Had an accident today.....

and ran into the back of a car
Anyway, I swapped insurance details and as I am with Swiftcover notified them online. Im worried about the excess though (£300) as I dont really have it!
I have looked on my policy documents though and it says what they dont pay for if im claiming for damage on my car - being any excess shown on my policy. However when claiming for damage on someone elses car it doesnt say this!
Does this mean if I fix my own car and just put the other persons damage through the insurance i dont have to pay excess?
Thanks!

Generally you only pay your excess if you claim for your own damage, if the other person claims you pay £0 :)
