And there was me thinking MoneySaving was also about making money work for you. It's a flat, any buyer is likely to be chain free and the girl is obviously desperate for the place with offers like that. :rolleyes:
It's hardly taking a risk if you ask for more and the girl says "no, that was my final offer". You can just accept the lower offer.
What's £1500 people ask?! I wouldn't turn down £1500 for a day's work.
Think about what you'd do in a similar situation. There are threads today from people with the shoe on the other foot; you're a FTB offering on a property and a vendor has just said no to your second, adrenaline fuelled offer. Would you really walk away, cursing or would you take the option of:
a) Offering More
b) Stating that was your final offer, but it still stands.
It's a no brainer surely? :wall:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
