Do I qualify for working tax credits?
I earned £22,518 last year gross (before tax)
£1,266.50 per month net
I am a single male who is disabled, I have ms. I currently work full time, 35 hours per week, but for how long - who knows?
Anyway I claim DLA - high rate mobility and care.
Would I qualify for any tax credits?

Be very careful dropping hours! Tax credits aren't going to be around forever.*SIGH*

But the OP has said nothing about his disability affecting him at the minute.*SIGH*

I imagine it depends what job you have etc, it must be possible else tax credits wouldnt have the severe disability element of WTC would it? Just because you recv DLA HCC doesnt necessarily mean you not capable of holding down a full time job, everyone is different aren they.0 -

But surely it would go against your care needs if you work all day?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

some people dont need a carer 24/7, we dont know the individual circumstances, what job he does, what his doctor says or what was on his DLA application form, so not really up to us to judge whether he should be recieving it or not0

Which would be in complete contradiction of a HRC award. Claimants are awarded HRC when they require help or supervision through the day and night.Gone ... or have I?0 -
are you a doctor? There must be a reason he has been awarded HCC else DLA wouldnt have given it to him, but the fact of the matter is its not our place not ask is it?! Its completely off the topic of the original question.
Do you have any advice to offer the OP? If not why have you decided to write on this thread? As last time I checked he asked a question not your opinion.0
