Current accounts for Jersey, Channel Islands

Hey Guys
Just discovered the joys of the MSE site but as a resident of Jersey I don't seem to be able to take advantage of most of Martins sage advice!

Does anyone have any thoughts on a current account for Jersey? Martins top picks are not availabel in Jersey. I'm with HSBC at the moment for both current and savings acounts and I'm sure there's a better way.

I think the only decent looking account is at Bank of Scotland international.

I think its about 1% below base rate, so not like the best on the mainland but not bad. I have been in their manx branch on the IOM, but i think they have got a branch in Jersey too...

I'm also in Jersey. However I have some of my savings in the UK.

As Heng has said RBSI is probably the best around. Also remember the tax benefits here mean that while the rates do look lower than the UK, we pay less tax on them.
