Saving in Jersey, Channel Islands

Options
Hey Guys
Just discovered the joys of the MSE site but as a resident of Jersey I don't seem to be able to take advantage of most of Martins sage advice!

Does anyone have any thoughts on a savings fountain structure for Jersey?

My girlfriend and I are the position to save around £500 month. From what I can tell there is no way for me to avoid tax on this as ISAs, from what I understand, are for the mainland only! Looks like it will be the Lloyds 8% high saver account but am hoping there are other options out there before that. So much for living in a tax haven.

Looking forward to your thoughts

Cheers
