Kittie, I see you got a thanks from rewired! It is considered quite an honour in some circles.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

What environmental catastrophe? Where's the oil now? Where will it be a year from now? Five years from now?
It's a commercial problem for BP and for those suffering as a result of things like the US government's decision to suspend much oil work in the area but that's a very different thing from an environmental catastrophe.
If it had been in cold water things could have been very different, with far less evaporation and dispersal of the oil.
You're wasting your time. ninky never let's facts get in the way when there is a good 'right-on' bandwagon crying out to be jumped upon.
If it's against that evil entity 'big business', all the better.0 -
I was considered buying BP shares when the news first broke. Thought they couldn't go any lower, but they did.
A blue chip company cannot fail and they will recover. Well maybe, but I am not investing in BP."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

To be fair nobody expected Obama to come out with the rhetoric he did. He at one stage compared it to the twin towers attack.
He has alot to answer for regarding BP's share price.0 -

JamesU, "There are no annual charges to hold shares, gilts and corporate bonds in the Vantage Fund & Share Account", so you get to blush and edit a second time.
Jamesd, yes you are right, blush, blush.
Devil in the detail on the second page of T+Cs for non-ISA as you say. Previous post edited yet again.
