i have had my car serviced at my regular garage, last year they reset the service counter (a counter that shows on the milometer when i start the car)

i have checked my hand books, but cannot see it any where, i have tried googling, but only seem to find car dealers

does any one know how to reset it
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)

Google search a reset tool - many need two pins shorting together on a diagnostics socket etc.

Ignition on, press in trip reset button, ignition off about 20 times. Would not but anything that can do it.

As tom says, it does work!!
