Tree/Fruit identification help needed
All along the 20ft fence there are many of these 'fruit trees' on my neighbours side. They seem to be full of green fruit that looks more like a plum than apple or pear.

Our neighbour doesn't have a clue what they are either. What I do know is that it seems to be able to grow and replicate itself very easily!

Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance!

Thank you... so definitely edible then? The bottom pic shows the few that are hanging over our side of the fence and we have permission to prune any branches that are on our side! I do try to stop them sprouting on our side they spread like mad!

WOW they are either a plum or greengage and I would be encouraging them to come over my side of the fence anytime.
Good luck with your jam.Slimming World at target0 -
I would also say probably greengage or plum, leaning more towards greengage - I would also be encouraging them to over hang my garden:).0

Thank you guys! I know my neighbour wouldn't mind if I was to strip them bare!
As it happens, the fence is about 4 ft tall and I am 5' 9" so very easy to pick whatever I want as she can't reach close to our border... there are too many of these bleeding trees!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

Gosh... The fence needs some TLC... spent so much time building the decking I never noticed it! My 2 year old Victoria Plum tree looks tiny with next doors trees in the background.
