Credit Card Tarting - Advice Please

Hi

I have a Halifax One Credit Card which is now on 16.9% APR - It has a limit of £6950 which I am right up to.

I would like to transfer the balance to a 0% interest free card but am confused by the options including fees plus don't want to put loads of footprints on my credit file by getting refused by loads of cards.

I have a good credit record but am dubious whether one card will be sufficient to take on the whole balance or whether it'd be more likely I'd have to take two or more.

Am soooo confused. And worried about this 'debt' hanging over me.

ANY HELP - PLLLEEAAASSSEE?!!

Its very doubtful that you will be able to transfer the whole £6950 to a new card in one lump. It will probably take around 3 different cards to do that. Would recommend you read the balance transfer article within the 'Credit card' section on the left hand side. If theres any other queries then post back as their will be plenty of people to help
